Obambi Tells America "Up Yours" Again

Either Barack Obama doesn't really believe that we are fighting to stop an economic crisis or he just doesn't care. For him to be playing politics at this juncture means that, once again, he just doesn't care about anything other than himself. (This is why he could belong to a hate church for twenty years...so what if they spread hate, it's good for his Chicago political ambitions.)

The idea that Congress can "call him if they need him" is so typical of Obama. Just another way to vote "present" and play no part in the actual negotiations and efforts being conducted in Washington. The utter arrogance of this man is stunning -- although no longer the least bit surprising.

If this is a real crisis leaders lead, they don't grandstand and play games. Tough and important negotiations are being conducted and Obama wants to avoid being a part of them. This isn't leadership, it is moral and political cowardess that we've come to expect from The Anointed One.

It's kind of perfect that you don't know how to spell cowardice, Evan.

Anyway, like dear leader said, the president has to be able to manage more than 1 thing at a time

maybe he's being sexist by using using what is tantamount to a female suffix......nah, he's just stupid.

i want to hear what the man who will be president in a scant 40 days has to say about how he will handle this crisis. mccain: a coward in vietnam and so shell-shocked that he pees his depends at the thought of actually having to debate the O man on, omg, economics!

dora, check out his american carol posting...evan says--get this!--that bush's approval rating is at 31%....maybe the dyslexic reversed the digits....nah, he lied. i don't know why he just didn't go for the moon and say it was at an all time high of 75%. both of his little followers would be nodding and clapping, i'm sure.

Clearly both Obama & McCain are managing more that one thing at a time. The difference in their prioritizing of the tasks is clarifying...blather VS action.

why, you're right, jmb. nothing would be done about the crisis if obama and mccain didn't halt their campaigns and the debate on the economy. NOT. The hysterical blather is mccain; and the cool, calm deliberative man of action is obama. i like him more and more. he's, like, soooooo presidential. i'd love to vote for him.

Who's debating the economy? McCain's in DC trying to fix the economy while Obama goes to "debate school" and runs around the country telling everyone what a great leader he is...

Yeah, leader. Is that a joke or what? The man's unconsciously doing satire about leadership as perceived by someone who has never been one.kspknk

The only "change" I'm seeing in the whole of the campaign is coming from McCain. When is Obama going to man up and bring some of the "change" he's been promising?

Anonymous said...

people have had quite enough of mccain's (a guy who admits he knows nothing about the economy) kind of "fixing" (good word selection) of the economy. and how has mccain ever been any kind of leader--wadda joke!

Polling Shows Palin to be a Drag on the Ticket. NBC/WSJ poll: Doubts about Palin. Forty-nine percent say that Palin is unqualified to be president if the need arises, compared with 40 percent who say she's qualified. By contrast, 64 percent believe Biden is qualified to be president, versus just 21 percent who disagree. 9/25

A non-emergency meeting

The McCain campaign's new urgency about the financial crisis didn't entirely clear his schedule this morning.

My colleague Amie Parnes reports that he made it to his scheduled morning meeting with Lady Lynn de Rothschild, a Clinton backer who recently came out in support of him.

All while Obama was waiting by the phone for a returned call.

why are the republicans so sexist toward sarah palin, protecting her like she is some rare flower from the press? why is the one debate made under such conditions that biden cannot retort to her responses? can't she hang in there with the men? no wonder she's a drag on the party

Who do you want to lead? A man who knows everything and is never wrong or a man who despite his knowledge feels he would want to know more before making key decisions because he doesn't assume he knows everything and assumes he's sometimes wrong. Oh and one of them has actually accomplished things.

That, I think, is the correct conclusion. He used Wright & his church to get "street cred"--as opposed to the notion that he's a radical, hate-mongering, crypto-Marxist like his reverend.

...who also officiated at his wedding and baptised his children, and was his "spiritual mentor" for 20 years, as reminded, so one still wonders how much of that ideology the political climber and opportunist not only sympathized with a priori and/or inter alia, but absorbed--if only by prolonged osmosis--a posteriori.

Along with the (best) possibility that he just used the church to get robed with "authenticity" (i.e. by being a phony), either cases are denunciative, together disqualifying, and no other "or" can be made.

Dora purringly sneered:

"It's kind of perfect that you don't know how to spell cowardice, Evan."

Why? You seem to be suggesting irony, some "kind" of symbolic nexus between the misspelled "cowardess" and actual cowardice.

Is he "afraid" to pick up a dictionary when in doubt, or just to play it safe, in lieu of instant Spellcheck?

Is that what you mean?

Or is he confident enough about his perfectly comprehensible argument to not fear the compromising of it by an incidental spelling error?

...which is, btw, the concern of editors, not writers-- and consistent misspelling is not a problem here, anyway-- unless you count your own commentaries, riddled as they are with misspelled "teh" (i.e. the) and "fi" (i.e. if), which, in all fairness (and obviousness), are best categorized not as misspellings, but typos (if not signature dyslexic hiccups that give you away when using aliases).

Anyway, Evan's certainly not afraid of some nitpicking taskmaster like yourself trying to suggest some "kind" of "perfect" nexus between a misspelled word and it's correctly-spelled significance to the misspeller's character, presumably.

If that interpretation is unsatisfactory, then, again, what do you mean "It's kind of perfect that you don't know how to spell cowardice, Evan"?

Oh, shut the fuck up you simpering little freak.
Have you ever heard a moron bloviate more pretentiously about nothing?

There has never been a more important time for the people of America to hear what their next president has to say about the economy.

It's quite clear that the fool who only days ago was telling us how solid it was understands this...and wants to make damn sure he doesn't have to explain that idiocy to the public under questioning.

So, he combines a ludicrously transparent grandstanding gesture with an act of cowardICE and tries to get the best of both worlds out of it.

I doubt if anyone who doesn't WANT TO BE FOOLED will be fooled.

Hail Mary Pass Intercepted:

"With respect to the debates," Obama said in Tampa, Fla., where he is preparing for the debate Friday night, "it is my belief that this exactly time that the American people need to hear from the person who, within 40 days, will be responsible for this mess... It is going to be part of the president's job to deal with more than one problem at once....In my mind, it's more important than ever that we try to present ourselves to the American people."

David Letterman Skewers McCain for His Cancellation Stunt: "He can't run the campaign because the economy is cratering? Fine, put in your second string quarterback, Sarah Palin. Where is she?" "What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!" 9/25

McCain Tries Bizarre Hail Mary: Even Though He Has Admitted Before That He Knows Very Little About Economy, He is Now Challenging Obama to Attend an Economic Summit to Resolve the Problems that McCain's De-Regulation Policies Caused. In Short, McCain Has an Excuse to Cancel the Debates, Because He is "Suspending" His Campaign. What a Desperate Joke!

So, take that, libtards.

Gee, there were so many others he could have been referring to after posting "stfu" in the wake of my back-to-back paragraphs.
