Ramblilngs on Joe the Plumber and Why Obama/Springsteen et al him him

The same leftists who couldn't care less that Barack Obama has spent his entire adult life working in cahoots with terrorists, mobsters, thugs and hate-mongers are livid that Joe "the plumber" Wurzelbacher isn't really named "Joe" (it's his MIDDLE name -- aha, they got us again!!!).

Amazing how the leftist media couldn't find Obama's mentor's hate tapes (available for sale in the hate church's gift shop) but within five hours had dug up the tax records and the business papers of some obscure plumber in Ohio.

What this is really about is the leftists' hatred for the working people of America. It is the whole reason they despise Sarah Palin with both Palin and Wurzelbacher being exactly the people Barack Obama described in what he thought was an off-the-record talk to his elitist money-bags in San Francisco. They are also the type of people that Bruce Springsteen -- now flacking of The Anointed One convinced that he and Obama share a lot in common (such as having gotten filthy rich by attacking the people they claim to care about) -- calls "losers" in "Thunder Road" and is convinced are utterly miserable for no other reason than they have jobs.

Haha...somebody sounds like a hate monger...an insane, lying, out of control, hate monger.

What's left of their rancid, little rump party is entirely and wholly infected with McCainiac sickness.

Everyone else has left.

Evan, you mispelled "ramblings" and at the end of the sentence you have "him" twice (I assume you meant "hate him"). Apparently uncontrolled hatred and frustration are making you totally incoherent, like Mccain. I am sorry, but I you will just have to resign yourself to the destruction of your movement. Don't despair - life is always interesting and I am sure you will find something other than completely discredited Neonconservative doctrines to engage your attention.

Gee, is the psycho actually trying to keep the focus on inane non-issues in the middle of the typhoon?

Don't waste time with him on that, Midnite...that's what the disastrous insects want.

The Pentagon actually has the gall to ask for a huge increase to its corruptly bloated budget...during one of the worst financial crises in history!

There is no end to the greed and anti-Americanism of these subversive, faux patriot scum. They would bleed the country dry before they acted like patriots and gave up even a little of their grasping, suctorial avarice.

If a CUT in the "defense" budget is a result of this disaster, at least one good thing will have come of it.

And the party of shirking Americans, the vile GOP, will do its best to help them bleed all the REAL Joe the plumbers til they're dead from anemia and overwork...which is why REAL plumber's unions endorse Obama.

NYC, DC, Chicago, LA and SF papers endorse Obama
By The Associated Press – 2 hours ago

Excerpts from recent newspaper endorsements of the presidential candidates. The Los Angeles Times endorses Democrat Barack Obama, calling him "educated and eloquent, sober and exciting, steady and mature." The Washington Post calls Obama "the right man for a perilous moment." The Chicago Tribune, endorsing a Democratic presidential nominee for the first time, expresses "tremendous confidence" in Obama's "intellectual rigor, his moral compass and his ability to make sound, thoughtful, careful decisions."

___

Los Angeles Times endorsed Democrat Barack Obama on Oct. 17:

... We need a leader who demonstrates thoughtful calm and grace under pressure, one not prone to volatile gesture or capricious pronouncement. We need a leader well-grounded in the intellectual and legal foundations of American freedom. Yet we ask that the same person also possess the spark and passion to inspire the best within us: creativity, generosity and a fierce defense of justice and liberty.

The Times without hesitation endorses Barack Obama for president. ...

We may one day look back on this presidential campaign in wonder. We may marvel that Obama's critics called him an elitist, as if an Ivy League education were a source of embarrassment, and belittled his eloquence, as if a gift with words were suddenly a defect. In fact, Obama is educated and eloquent, sober and exciting, steady and mature. He represents the nation as it is, and as it aspires to be.

___

El Diario/La Prensa, the largest Spanish-language daily paper in New York City, endorsed Obama on Oct. 17:

... El Diario/La Prensa endorses Sen. Barack Obama as the leader ready to redirect the United States of America towards its promise.

Sen. Obama wisely opposed Bush's misguided and immoral charge into Iraq...

Sen. Obama has correctly identified that trickle-down economics are not addressing the inequities Americans face...

Sen. Obama has committed to investing in schools and to making higher education more accessible.

... While Sen. John McCain once appeared as a reasonable interlocutor on immigration reform, he gradually pandered to Republican ultra conservatives by promoting a two-step process emphasizing border enforcement. Sen. Obama clearly outlines a far superior plan that will take a smarter approach to immigration, including bringing undocumented immigrants out of the shadows.

___

The Chicago Tribune endorsed Democrat Barack Obama on Oct. 17.

... Many Americans say they're uneasy about Obama... We have known Obama since he entered politics a dozen years ago. We have watched him, worked with him, argued with him as he rose from an effective state senator to an inspiring U.S. senator to the Democratic Party's nominee for president.

We have tremendous confidence in his intellectual rigor, his moral compass and his ability to make sound, thoughtful, careful decisions. He is ready.

When Obama said at the 2004 Democratic Convention that we weren't a nation of red states and blue states, he spoke of union the way Abraham Lincoln did.

... We are proud to add Barack Obama's name to Lincoln's in the list of people the Tribune has endorsed for president of the United States.

___

The Washington Post endorsed Democrat Barack Obama on Oct. 17:

... It is without ambivalence that we endorse Sen. Barack Obama for president.

The choice is made easy in part by Mr. McCain's disappointing campaign, above all his irresponsible selection of a running mate who is not ready to be president. It is made easy in larger part, though, because of our admiration for Mr. Obama and the impressive qualities he has shown during this long race...

Mr. Obama is a man of supple intelligence, with a nuanced grasp of complex issues and evident skill at conciliation and consensus-building...

Mr. Obama's temperament is unlike anything we've seen on the national stage in many years. He is deliberate but not indecisive; eloquent but a master of substance and detail; preternaturally confident but eager to hear opposing points of view. He has inspired millions of voters of diverse ages and races, no small thing in our often divided and cynical country. We think he is the right man for a perilous moment.

___

The San Francisco Chronicle endorsed Democrat Barack Obama on Friday, Oct. 17.

... The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression gave Americans an opportunity to see the two major-party candidates under heightened stress...

Sen. John McCain magnified the aura of crisis, "suspending" his campaign to return to Washington, where his role in negotiations was at best tangential. Sen. Barack Obama was a portrait of calmness and deliberation, reminding Americans that it is possible for a leader to juggle more than one task at a time...

The Illinois senator was similarly deliberative — in contrast with McCain's quick-draw provocation — when Russia invaded Georgia in August ...

Obama has kept his composure and maintained a vision of optimism that has drawn an unparalleled wave of young people into the political process. His policies and his persona have offered hope to a nation that is deeply polarized, swimming in debt, mired in war and ridden with anxiety. He taps into that treasured American reservoir — patriotism — with his calls for sacrifice and national service.

Barack Obama is the right president for these troubled times.

Hate campaign by thug McCain repulsing even fellow Republicans:

GOP Senator Slams McCain Robo Call
October 17

ABC News' Teddy Davis and Rigel Anderson report: Embattled Republican Sen. Susan Collins is calling on Sen. John McCain to stop paying for automated phone calls which describe Sen. Barack Obama as having "worked closely" with "domestic terrorist Bill Ayers."

"These kind of tactics have no place in Maine politics," said Collins spokesman Kevin Kelley. "Sen. Collins urges the McCain campaign to stop these calls immediately."

This cartoon says it better than anything else the connection between McCain and the plumber: Cartoon.

Find me one quote where Springsteen has said anything about Joe the Plumber, Mr. Sayet.

Find one.

You are a liar.

And by the way, how much money do you make a year? Before your alimony payments.

Anonymous said...

Sayet was a heeeeeuge Springsteen fan...before he got politically jilted. He couldn't gush about Breeeewce enough.

Nothing worse than an alimony burdened, family values hypocrite spurned.

Touching to hear about the GOP's love for the working man, though, innit?

Has any party ever done more to keep them in the gutter?

Well, since Looey Sixteen, I mean?

Another Unprecedented Endorsement, This Time in Swing State Colorado: "The Denver Post, which had backed George W. Bush in 2004 and is owned by Republican-leaning William Dean Singleton, this evening endorsed Barack Obama for president. So did the Chicago Sun-Times, Kansas City Star. Southwest News-Herald (Ill.) and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. And to top it off: another Bush-backing in 2004, The Salt Lake Tribune."

Who gives a rats ass about a newspaper's endorsement? They speak for me about as much as Jesse Jackson.

Maine doesn't like the fact that Obama actually does have close ties to the terrorist Ayers. That means that the truth has no place in the Maine democratic party. No difference there than on a national level. Ayers admits his terrorist actions, and it's been proven that the relationship between Hussein Obama and Ayers has been far more cozy than his staff has tried to lead America to believe. Far beyond their collaboration to "end to traditional European education" in this country. Facts are facts, but don't bother looking them up, liberals. Your partisan beliefs wouldn't change if Sharia law was enacted and your daughters were under the knife for female circumcision.

NYT Profile of Cindy McCain is Less Than Flattering: "Mrs. McCain, 54, describes herself as her husband’s best friend, though for the last two decades they have mostly lived apart, she in Arizona, he in Washington. She initially seemed like an ideal political partner, giving Mr. McCain a home state, money and contacts that jump-started his career. But as the years passed, she also became a liability at times. She played a role in the Keating Five savings-and-loan scandal, and just as her husband was rehabilitating his reputation, she was caught stealing drugs from her nonprofit organization to feed her addiction to painkillers. She has a fortune that sets the McCains apart from most other Americans, a problem in a presidential race that hinges on economic anxieties. She can be imprecise: she has repeatedly called herself an only child, for instance, even though she has two half-siblings, and has provided varying details about a 1994 mercy mission to Rwanda." 10/19
