Oh God, This is Getting Terrifying: Palin Threatens War With Russia. We Wish That We Were Making This Up, But Sadly, We Aren't. This is a "Teaser" from the Packaged ABC News Gibson Structured and Arranged Faux Interview. God Help Us!

McCain Voted Against Biden Law Requiring Free Rape Exams. Sarah Palin, When Mayor of Wasilla, Charged Rape Victims for Exams to Prove That They Were Raped. This is a Ticket That Isn't Even Compassionate to Rape Victims, But Sarah Palin Pays Guys Who Shoot Wolves From Airplanes $150 in Taxpayer Money for Each Front Left Paw. Perverse.

Henry C. Jackson, The Associated Press:

On 9/11: "It is not necessary to indulge in theorizing about the visual impression of a planned demolition, or whether or not a plane hit the Pentagon, it is enough to know what Bush did not do. Before 9/11, he did not listen. On the day of the attacks, he did not lead. And in the years since, he has not brought us the head of Osama Bin Laden." 9/12

Pretend you were a rape victim in Wasilla, Alaska. You have gone through perhaps the worst experience you will ever have in your life. Critics note that under Mayor Sarah Palin, Wasilla charged rape victims for rape exams. In that case, your worst experience just got even worse. 9/12

What is already apparent is that John McCain is running the sleaziest, most dishonest and race-baiting campaign of our lifetimes. So let's stopped being shocked and awed by every new example of it. It is undignified. What can we do? We've got a dangerously reckless contender for the presidency and a vice presidential candidate who distinguished her self by abuse of office even on the comparatively small political stage of Alaska. They've both embraced a level of dishonesty that disqualifies them for high office. Democrats owe it to the country to make clear who these people are. No apologies or excuses."

Who else would spam a 9/11 post?

And yes, I certainly do remember...

Dear I Report...

Pretending to be what your not so your half-truths, outright lies and lunatic spin will be blindly accepted might work with your other leftist friends, but the problem is that Republicans have brains. We know the issues and we know the real world.

Take your hysterical propaganda to The Daily Kos.

Absolutely! With heartache and resolve to fight back.

I've worked hard to become knowledgable about Islam.

I've learned more about our United States Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

I've moved from apolitical to strongly conservative. And I volunteer my time for state and federal candidates. This is totally out of character for me and it's turning out to be a great experience and quite fun.

I keep abreast of current world events.

I speak up.

But most of all, I no longer take my coutry and my freedoms for granted. And I've discovered I have a visceral love for America.
I'm ashamed to admit that I had not experienced that before.

Our freedoms were won in the past but must continue to be won because the United States is under attack by Islamic fascists.

Evan...thanks for such a simple, powerful post.

Incredible. "I Report" won't even give his cut & paste propaganda attacks a rest in a post quietly devoted to commemoration of a quiet day seven years ago when we were at rest and attacked.

Indeed, in a post Evan Sayet devotes as a memorial to 9/11, the troll flies in out of nowhere to destroy the tranquility and incite mayhem, and strife, proof that the radical, subversive Leftist is not far removed from the evil impulses of jihadist terrorist.

I remember, Evan. No more. They need to be put down.

They and all their appeasers, enablers, apologists, and like-minded enemies of civilized cooperation and peace.

Thanks, Evan.

Phony Outrage Bleats, "Incredible. "I Report" won't even give his cut & paste propaganda attacks a rest in a post quietly devoted to commemoration of a quiet day seven years ago when we were at rest and attacked."

Maybe that's because I remember all too well how the "president" allowed it to happen after endless specific warnings, flew the Bin Ladens out of the country the very next day, read My Pet Goat with a frozen look on his shit eating face, flew around the country like a chickenshit with its pinhead cut off...and then, in response, attacked the wrong country in one of the worst criminal wars in history.

Oh, I remember, alright...and so does the American public and the world, and so will the coming ages
which will look back in disbelief on how a great country suddenly displayed the rot which had been growing beneath it since the time the lower ordures had gained control of the government and the press.

I remember well.

That's right; Sayet could hide his eyes and plug his ears like the cowardly "John" did on his own little joke of a blog.

PRINCETON, NJ -- A potential shift in fortunes for the Republicans in Congress is seen in the latest USA Today/Gallup survey, with the Democrats now leading the Republicans by just 3 percentage points, 48% to 45%, in voters' "generic ballot" preferences for Congress. This is down from consistent double-digit Democratic leads seen on this measure over the past year.

What you "remember," I Report, is drinking the Kool Aid through a straw while watching Michael Moore's *Fahrenheight 911* and leaving the theater a transmogrified zombie (although you were well on your way beforehand).

You are no longer capable of independent, rational thought.

You live in a bizzaro world where everything is inverted, upside-down, backwards.

You are negatively-charged anti-matter.

In the blogosphere, you are a terrorist, anonymously appearing out of the blue and crashing your plane into the edifice of Evan Sayet's blog.

You poison the blog with your cut & paste propaganda in the same way al-Jazeera poisoned the air-waves.

You walk into the cafe of the commentary section wearing a bomb-laden vest and blow yourself up, hoping to take as many others as you can with you.

You plant i.e.d.s on the roadside of the information superhighway.

On a good day, you run in,drop your pants and defecate, vomit your bile, and then run off, laughing "hahahaha," surviving to spew another day.

Usually, however, you get called on your paltry hand, lose to a royal flush, are unable to pay what you wagered, and get horsewhipped in the public square here in consequence before getting tarred, feathered, and carried out on a rail, ashamed to ever appear wearing the same mask again.

Finally, you only help the Republican ticket, because, like in the Anbar Awakening, people otherwise leery of the Right-Thinking Americans hear the alternative--everytime you open your mouth and set off an ied--and do what they can to keep your repulsive ilk out of political power.

So keep it up. And be Loud & Proud about it, because the politicians you elevate sure as hell aren't and, now that the primaries are over, don't want anything more to do with you).

Nation’s Financial Industry Gripped by Fear
By BEN WHITE and JENNY ANDERSON
Fear and greed are the stuff that Wall Street is made of. But inside the great banking houses, those high temples of capitalism, fear came to the fore this weekend.

As Lehman Brothers, one of oldest names on Wall Street, filed for bankruptcy protection, anxiety over the bank’s fate — and over what might happen next — gripped the nation’s financial industry. By Sunday night, Merrill Lynch, under mounting pressure, had reached a deal to sell itself to Bank of America for $29 a share or about $50 billion, according to people with knowledge of the deal.

Dinner parties were canceled. Weekend getaways were postponed. All of Wall Street, it seemed, was on high alert.

In skyscrapers across Manhattan, banking executives were holed up inside their headquarters, within cocoons of soft rugs and wood-paneled walls, desperately trying to assess their company’s exposure to the stricken Lehman. It was, by all accounts, a day unlike anything Wall Street had ever seen.
