Democrats Play Race Card

The following is from Newsbusters.org. It shows how, yet again, the Democrats play the race card against ANYONE who dares to disagree with them INCLUDING FELLOW DEMOCRATS. Poor Bill Clinton (never thought I'd say that) attacked for being a "racist" by the Obama camp earlier.

Why do Dems always play the race card? Well, for one thing, they have nothing else. They cannot thoughtfully argue on behalf of their failed policies so they attack others personally.

Now this:

'Cabin' Fever in Denver: Clinton Backer Accuses Obama Ally of 'Uncle Tom' Comment
By Ken Shepherd | August 25, 2008 - 14:30

Windy City newspapers this morning are devoting coverage to a he said/she said mini-scandal roiling among Democratic Convention delegates. From the Chicago Sun-Times.:

DENVER -- A black Hillary Clinton delegate on Sunday accused state Senate President Emil Jones of calling her an "Uncle Tom."

Jones -- Barack Obama's political mentor -- denied using the racially loaded slur against Chicago political consultant Delmarie Cobb, but two aldermen who said they witnessed the Saturday night exchange back up Cobb's account.

"Last night, I was called an 'Uncle Tom' by Emil Jones in the lobby of the hotel, right in front of [Ald.] Freddrenna Lyle and [Ald.] Leslie Hairston and [Ald.] Latasha Thomas," said Cobb, a member of Clinton's Illinois Steering Committee. "I walked over to him and asked him, 'What did you just call me?'

The embarrassing flap came on the eve of the Democratic National Convention, which will open tonight with a string of Chicago speakers talking about Obama's life story. Jones is often referred to as Obama's "political godfather.''

The "explanation": He now says he called her "Doubting Thomas" and was misquoted.

Just like Barack explaining that he meant he was talking about "Washington experience," not race, when he accused McCain of planning to say stuff like Obama "Doesn't look like the other presidents on the currency."

He was lying.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED to hear that Democrats play the race card!

Well, nothing here but some rancid meat from the white racist party commiserating and rationalizing.

Hate mongers love company.

Are you freakos still hoping for an assassination? They already caught one of your bubbas...but, hang in there...you've got millions more.

You're an imbecile, anon. The post was about how Democrats play the race card, and how do you respond?

By playing the race card.

Duh...no, moron, he's pointing out how you ALWAYS play the race card.

Now, watch me play the other ace in the hole...the age card:

McCain Owes America An Alzheimer's Test

While Ted Kennedy and Michelle Obama were rocking the Democratic convention in Denver, John McCain made his 13th appearance with Jay Leno to joke about his age.

But McCain's age is no joke. He will turn 72 on Friday and would be halfway to 73 if elected and sworn in on January 20. That would make him the oldest first-term President ever, two years older than Ronald Reagan.

McCain is two years older than his father was when he died suddenly of a heart attack at 70. He is 11 years older than his grandfather was when he died of "sheer exhaustion" at age 61.

The United States cannot afford the risk that McCain would die suddenly in the middle of an international crisis.

Nor can we afford the risk of dementia. 22% of Americans over 70 are affected by mild cognitive impairment, while 13% of Americans over 65 have Alzheimer's. Ronald Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at age 83, but early signs were evident during his first term. Britain's "Iron Lady" Margaret Thatcher developed dementia at age 75.

McCain has never had an Alzheimer's test, even though he has 6 of the 10 warning signs, including his inability to remember recent facts like the number of homes he owns, the $1M lawsuit he filed in 1990, or the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003.

John McCain owes America a thorough test for Alzheimer's and cognitive impairment long before Election Day.

Great speech by Jim Leach (Sane Republican) on behalf of Obama at the convention.

Duh, and playing the race card in the process.

"Now, watch me play the other ace in the hole...the age card."

Smart move. The seniors and aging Baby Boomers are gonna love that.

You seem to think that a vociferous rabble of juvenile punks brainwashed by the left-wing Kool-Aid represent "The People."

Is that why the DNC made sure to put your obscenity-spewing, scraggly-bearded, ectomorphic crowd in a virtual cage outside the convention hall, with riot police at the ready with billy-clubs and pepper-spray?

Is that why Moveon, Daily Kos, etc. and their legion of trolls who drove the primaries won't even be mentioned during the gala?

They wouldn't dare. You're like a dirty little secret.

Who? Never heard of him.

Just wait until Lieberman (semi-sane Democrat, I'm sure you've heard of him)speaks at St. Paul.

You'll be coughing up frogs.

All I ask is that anyone reading these comments who still votes Democrat, take a moment to digest the hate and the stupidity of anon. Is this REALLY your ideological brother? Is this REALLY the mindset that you want running your schools, your city and your country? Hate, anger, jealousy and stupidity do not make for a good world view.

I've just digested...and I'm with anon.

Of course, he hates the haters and the destroyers...shouldn't everyone?

No one sane debates a wingbat as though it was actually human...collectively, you freaks have brought America endless catastrophes and taken us down to one of the lowest points in our history.

On every front, you've been a malignant disaster.

This "movement" has been the last, desperate gasp of the lower ordures as their monstrous backwardness is being ripped apart by the modern world.

You're evil roaches and America is starting to get that...

BIG TIME.

GREAT speech last night, Hillary.

Only the presidential race will be close in this election because racism still runs deep.

But the even greater speech by Mrs. Obama helped that considerably.

The roaches are panicking and they'll make it as ugly as possible, but America will emerge from this plague and put this foul thing behind it.

My, what a disgusting group of little trolls you have Evan. You are right: Hate, anger, jealousy and stupidity do not make for a good world view.

Maybe McCain will go for that Alzheimer's test, right after Obama produces a legitimate birth certificate.

I am now starting to believe that there really is no way that Obama can win in November, and it’s not just because of McCain’s slam dunk in picking Sarah Palin as his running mate. Obama’s biggest weakness isn’t his leftist views, the criminals and America-hating sickos he counts as friends, he has already lied his way thru all of that. It’s not even Michelle or even his inexperience. It’s the fact that he doesn’t have the PR skills necessary to get elected DESPITE all of the reasons he shouldn’t be President. Democrats can’t get elected on their ideas, so they pretend to be moderates, and when the mask slips off and their socialist ideals are exposed, they spin, attack their accusers and masterfully cast themselves as victims of a “smear campaign.” Obama has all of the usual baggage of a leftist candidate––just none of the PR skills to make the public forget about it.
A liberal candidate without the skills to maintain the image of being a moderate is dead in the water.
Watching the Sarah Palin address the crowd in Denver earlier today, I was captivated. Sarah Palin held up well in her first appearance on the national political stage. Not only did she sound good, but she looked good. This lady has style. I mean, you gotta love a politician who is real!
