I just don't know how I want this thing to play out. Do I want the superdelegates to hand the election to Barack Hussein Obama whose now well-known, long-time partnership with mobsters, terrorists and his hate-mongering mentors makes him unelectable or do I want them to hand the nomination to Hillary Rodham Clinton and watch the Democrat party fall apart as blacks flee the party that has cynically used them for decades?

I must admit I'm getting a kick out of watching the cynical con artist who rose to fame, power and wealth by sucking up to mobsters, terrorists and hate-mongerers like being sold out by these same folks. I don't really blame BHO. I mean how could he possibly have known that mobsters, terrorists and con artists would do something so mean to him?

I must admit I'm taking great pleasure in watching Michelle Obama's bitterness come to the surface yet again, only this time not against the good people of America who have given her everything but against the radical leftists she thought were her friends.

Yes, these are happy days.

Evan, I hope you're optimistic about the future of true conservatives.

The Left's greatest enemy is themselves. Their lack of ability to critically think (thanks to their college education) and their moral imperative of indiscrimination inevitably leads to making absolutely crappy decisions. The unfolding circus is proof positive. If there was EVER a time for the Dems to crush the Republicans, this was the year.

It's so entertaining to watch them lose.

If that wasn't enough, the fact that most Leftists are either having abortions, deciding to not have children ("Save the planet!"), or exploring metrosexual relationships means that in about 20-30 years or so after we've buried the last baby boomer, there will be far fewer Leftists than birth-control-free Christian Conservatives.

Natural selection is God's way of improving the situation.

Great post.

Obviously McCain is not my first choice as a true conservative. But grown-ups recognize that the choices in the world are better imperfect things. On the big issues -- who will fight against the evil of Islamic fascism? Not BHO who has already declared that he would surrender the Middle East to the terrorists and begin negotiations to appease the Islamic fascists around the world. Not HRC who must kowtow to the radical leftists who want the terrorists to win...so McCain's the guy.

Who is going to stimulate the economy by keeping taxes low? Not BHO or HRC, they're socialists who seek to punish the successful because it's not "fair" that they're successful.

Who's going to protect the border? Not BHO and HRC who want illegal immigrants to take control of the country because, in the words of Michelle Obama, Americans are mean and according to BHO they are bitter and angry. Better to be taken over by others.

What kind of Supreme Court justices will they appoint? BHO will appoint radical leftists who advance his radical leftist (hate-America-always) agenda and Hillary will appoint radical leftists because she's a socialist.

So it's a very good thing that the Democrats have put themselves in such a bind where they have the choice of nominating someone less likely to win than George McGovern or someone who will destroy the party. Things are good.

You have NO IDEA how much I'm enjoying the nation bitch slapping the politicians and 'community figures' from the South Side (of Chicago). NO IDEA. If only the good 'Rev wasn't building his new digs down the street from me it would be perfect!

Obama will not make it to the election...one of our good old boys will nail him long before he gets there. Of course, I don't exactly approve of that, but considering the damage he'll do...

We still need two reasonable parties in order that they keep each other under pressure. The Dems need to get their act together, and not just for their own sakes.

If that "good ol boy" get to Osama Obama the dims will be a little more reasonable metinks...is that what you mean brett? Let them houl racism. They bring that on themselfs putting a angry dude like that up there.

Here's what I mean:
Day in the Life of Joe, the Middle-Class Republican

by John Gray

Joe gets up at 6:00am to prepare his morning coffee. He fills his pot full of good clean drinking water because some liberal fought for minimum water quality standards. He takes his daily medication with his first swallow of coffee. His medications are safe to take because some liberal fought to insure their safety and work as advertised.

All but $10.00 of his medications are paid for by his employers medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance, now Joe gets it too. He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs this day. Joe’s bacon is safe to eat because some liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.

Joe takes his morning shower reaching for his shampoo; His bottle is properly labeled with every ingredient and the amount of its contents because some liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained. Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some tree hugging liberal fought for laws to stop industries from polluting our air. He walks to the subway station for his ride to work; it saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.

Joe begins his work day; he has a good job with excellent pay, medicals benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe’s employer pays these standards because Joe’s employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union. If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed he’ll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some liberal didn’t think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune. It's noon time, Joe needs to make a Bank Deposit so he can pay some bills. Joe’s deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some liberal wanted to protect Joe’s money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the depression.

Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae underwritten Mortgage and his below market federal student loan because some stupid liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his life-time.

Joe is home from work, he plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive to dads; his car is among the safest in the world because some liberal fought for car safety standards. He arrives at his boyhood home. He was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans. The house didn’t have electric until some big government liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification. (Those rural Republican’s would still be sitting in the dark)

He is happy to see his dad who is now retired. His dad lives on Social Security and his union pension because some liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn’t have to. After his visit with dad he gets back in his car for the ride home.

He turns on a radio talk show, the host’s keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. (He doesn’t tell Joe that his beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day) Joe agrees, “We don’t need those big government liberals ruining our lives; after all, I’m a self made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have”.

This will be the most fun blog in the world to read on November 5, when this clown sees that America has rejected his side's personality-based attacks and voted based on the, you know, issues that are important. Perhaps we will see a complete meltdown.

He'll think it's a great victory. Everyone opposes the war and the State Dep't says Al Q is stronger than ever...he/it imagines that means GWs little war has been a stunning successmentation. The definition of a conservative these days is stupid beyond comprehension.

Well, there's no guessing about the Republicans. Their nominee is a old, senile, ignorate, fat-boyo-of Hanoi Hilton, is there?

What I don't understand is why people on my side ignore his collaboration with the enemy.

Obama bought his house only with the help of Chicago mobster Tony Rezko. His spiritual mentor, personal guide and political adviser of twenty years is a vicious hate-monger, his buddies are murderers and terrorists.

So how do the hate-America-always crowd promote him? By calling a war hero with a record of bipartisanship "senile."

Democrats are brain-dead. Obama could call for concentration camps and they'd say "I LIKE his plan for cutting down on unemployment!!!"

McCain finds his own radical friend
Steve Chapman
May 4, 2008

Can a presidential candidate justify a long and friendly relationship with someone who, back in the 1970s, extolled violence and committed crimes in the name of a radical ideology—and who has never shown remorse or admitted error? When the candidate in question is Barack Obama, John McCain says no. But when the candidate in question is John McCain, he's not so sure.

Obama has been justly criticized for his ties to former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers, who in 1995 hosted a campaign event for Obama and in 2001 gave him a $200 contribution. The two have also served together on the board of a foundation. When their connection became known, McCain minced no words: "I think not only a repudiation but an apology for ever having anything to do with an unrepentant terrorist is due the American people."

What McCain didn't mention is that he has his own Bill Ayers—in the form of G. Gordon Liddy. Now a conservative radio talk-show host, Liddy spent more than 4 years in prison for his role in the 1972 Watergate burglary. That was just one element of what Liddy did, and proposed to do, in a secret White House effort to subvert the Constitution. Far from repudiating him, McCain has embraced him.

How close are McCain and Liddy? At least as close as Obama and Ayers appear to be. In 1998, Liddy's home was the site of a McCain fundraiser. Over the years, he has made at least four contributions totaling $5,000 to the senator's campaigns—including $1,000 this year.

Last November, McCain went on his radio show. Liddy greeted him as "an old friend," and McCain sounded like one. "I'm proud of you, I'm proud of your family," he gushed. "It's always a pleasure for me to come on your program, Gordon, and congratulations on your continued success and adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great."

Which principles would those be? The ones that told Liddy it was fine to break into the office of the Democratic National Committee to plant bugs and photograph documents? The ones that made him propose to kidnap anti-war activists so they couldn't disrupt the 1972 Republican National Convention? The ones that inspired him to plan the murder (never carried out) of an unfriendly newspaper columnist?

Liddy was in the thick of the biggest political scandal in American history—and one of the greatest threats to the rule of law. He has said he has no regrets about what he did, insisting that he went to jail as "a prisoner of war."

All this may sound like ancient history. But it's from the same era as the bombings Ayers helped carry out as a member of the Weather Underground. And Liddy's penchant for extreme solutions has not abated.

In 1994, after the disastrous federal raid on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, he gave some advice to his listeners: "Now if the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms comes to disarm you and they are bearing arms, resist them with arms. Go for a head shot; they're going to be wearing bulletproof vests. . . . Kill the sons of bitches."

He later backed off, saying he meant merely that people should defend themselves if federal agents came with guns blazing. But his amended guidance was not exactly conciliatory: Liddy also said he should have recommended shots to the groin instead of the head. If that wasn't enough to inflame any nut cases, he mentioned labeling targets "Bill" and "Hillary" when he practiced shooting.

Given Liddy's record, it's hard to see why McCain would touch him with a 10-foot pole. On the contrary, he should be returning his donations and shunning his show. Yet the senator shows no qualms about associating with Liddy—or celebrating his service to their common cause.

How does McCain explain his howling hypocrisy on the subject? He doesn't. I made repeated inquiries to his campaign aides, which they refused to acknowledge, much less answer. On this topic, the pilot of the Straight Talk Express would rather stay parked in the garage.

That's an odd policy for someone who is so forthright about his rival's responsibility. McCain thinks Obama should apologize for associating with a criminal extremist. To which Obama might reply: After you.

I think it's so funny that you continue to use these non-issues as justifications for not supporting Obama. Yes, it's true that he accepted money from Rezko. But I've seen no evidence to suggest that Obama took that money with the knowledge of how shady Rezko actually was. He also donated that money to charity when Rezko's bullshit was exposed. As for Ayers, you're really grasping on this one. He and Ayers served on a board together, along with nine other people I believe, and Ayers donated $200 to his campaign. Oh, and they also live in the same neighborhood. That in no way suggests Obama's endorsement of Ayer's despicable actions when Obama was 9 years old. I long for the day, Evan, when you write about Bush's Saudi ties, and how he has Saudi Royal Bandar, or 'Bandy Bush' as the Bush family calls him over for stays at the White House, when 19 hijackers on 9/11 were from--you guessed it!--Saudi Arabia. But I know that won't happen.

That of course leads to your continuing use of Barack's middle name, Hussein, while in the same breath you attack Reverend Wright. So which is it? Is Barack an 'evil Muslim' or an 'America-hating Christian?' You simply cannot have it both ways, and your continuing assertions that you can have it both ways simply weakens your argument, because it shows that you really have nothing to stand on.

If you'd like to make an issue out of McCain's ties to the hate-mongerer Jerry Falwell or Pastor Hagee, go right ahead--although I don't see you doing that either.

In closing, if this is the best you can do on swiftboating Obama, dude this is really poor work. And might I also add, that McCain is in even bigger trouble than I had thought because once 'The Maverick's' lobbyist ties are exposed in the general election, there will be hell to pay for sure.

P.S. I'd be a little more careful about who you let post on here. My jaw dropped when I saw someone make a post about assassinating Obama. Just a word to the wise, of course, as you DO know that everything on the Internet is now monitored. Cheers!
