If you guys are fans of my blog then please come out and support my night of Conservative Comedians (rated PG-13, 18 and older may attend) at the world famous Friars of Beverly Hills. It's Wednesday, August 17th at 8:00. More information can be gotten by calling the Friars at 310.553.0850.

More information can also be found on the "news" page of my website www.evansayet.com.

Evan,
Is the "Git R Done" guy gonna be there?

Alva, there's is the "blue collar tour" and I think they're great. This is more of the "white collar tour".

I'll tell you a story, though. One time I was playing a club called "Catch a Rising Star" in Reno, NV. Larry "The Cable Guy" was downstairs in the BIG room.

So all week long I called myself "Evan, the Satellite Dish Man" and when people asked me what time "the cable guy's" show started I would say "he'll get there some time between 8 and twelve..."

funny Evan...I recently saw Larry's bit a few days ago, and it was quite good. He needs to work on his narrative flow a bit more though. Carlin would make a good model for him.

alva,

On my website is the documentary I wrote about the seventies. My partner was a gentleman named Andrew Solt. He was the money I was the brains.

Andrew owns the Ed Sullivan library so I had ANY comedian from that show to pick from for the snippets I needed and it was Carlin time and again whose standup was not just funny but exactly the narative I needed to move the story of the seventies forward.

There's a clip (not of Carlin) of my documentary on my website www.evansayet.com. It's on the "Satire" page I think. Check it out.
