Yesterday and Today (a list)

At the end of the previous administration we were in a recession. Today we are in what is known as a "Golidlocks" economy -- "just right" for sustained, longterm growth.

At the end of the previous administration America was still reeling from murderous attacks on our embassies, buildings and warships -- with 9/11 already planned and moving into place. Today America has gone almost four years without a single successful attack on America -- or an American interest outside the Middle East!!!

At the end of the previous administration taxes were high across the board. Today everyone who pays taxes keeps more of their income.

At the end of the previous administration Afghanistan was ruled by the vicious Taliban and was home to the terror training camps and organizational center of al Qaeda. Today Afghanistan is a democratic ally fighting and defeating the terrorists.

At the end of the previous administration Syria was continuing its vicious occupation of Lebanon. Today Lebanon is free.

At the end of the previous administration the horrific terror tactics of the Palestinians was devastating the tiny democracy of Israel. Today terror against our democratic ally is down by over 90 percent.

At the end of the previous administration Pakistan was a nuclear armed enemy of the United States, aiding and abetting the Islamic fascist terrorists behind 9/11 and other murderous attacks upon our civilians. Today Pakistan is an ally of the United States fighting and defeating the terrorists.

At the end of the previous administration our (then) nuclear armed enemy was at the throat of our nuclear armed ally, the democracy of India -- threatening an all-out nuclear war. Today Pakistan and India are playing cricket matches and the terror attacks that were a near-constant against the "infidels" of India have dropped to near nil.

At the end of the previous administration seniors had no prescription drug benefits. Today seniors are better protected than at any time in history.

At the end of the previous administration companies like Enron and Worldcomm were fudging their books and stealing billions from customers, employees and the country. Today companies like Enron have been investigated, caught, stopped, indicted, prosecuted and convicted.

At the end of the previous administration we had gone through one scandal after another including FBI files "showing up" in the First Lady's bedroom. Today, despite the slanders of the Democrats, the only scandals have been leftist media icon Dan Rather forging documents, (Democrat) Sandy Berger cramming top secret documents down his pants, Air America funding their network through the theft of money from the Boys and Girls Clubs and other crimes against America by Democrats.

At the end of the previous administration the stock market bubble had burst and we were in a recession. Today the stock market is high based on realistic growth and potential.

At the end of the previous administration (according to President Clinton) Saddam Hussein was a "threat to America." Today Saddam Hussein is in jail.

Family law blog looks at legal aspects of parenting, coupling
Thanks to Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit fame for this link to the Family Law Prof Blog, a new blog that you hopefully will never have any need to use.
This is a great blog with much good info.
My main interest is genealogy, and I have written a genealogy book which you can find along with many articles at my site. I believe it's the only genealogy book of its kind, dealing specifically with search for noble ancestors.

You people are right on when you mention the fact that the "administration" has NO PLACE WHATSOEVER in planning state evacuations, or to head off a POTENTIAL problem with New Orleans Levees.

The responsibility lies with the Mayor and Governors offices, as well as their related STATE agencies... has anyone noticed that the Mayor, Governor, and 1 of 2 senators are Democrats?

Why is it that every war and tragedy the USA suffers, is due toa democrat in charge... look at Vietnam, WW2, Cuban missile crisis, hostage crisis during Carter Admin, pre-9/11 attacks, 9/11 itself, end of 90's economic recession, Katrina (levees and evacuation plan)etc.... (the list goes on)... all either had democrat presidents immediately before the tragedy, or democrat local officials in charge during the tragedy.

Aloha Evan Sayet, I'm in Hawaiian mood as I'm listening to Ki ho'alu music (If you've not heard this type of guitar music then you are in for a treat!) so I'm not really concentrating very hard but I came across ##TITlE## looking up gen on currency trading tutorial. Anything to do with currency trading tutorial I always look at, though I do have a tendency to wander about in blogs just reading generally.
